Natural History Museum

Yingliang·Global Stone Natural History Museum is located on the border of Quanzhou and Amoy. The museum complex comprises 2 interconnected buildings housing 4 permanent exhibition halls, in addition to a large souvenir shop and a stone gallery which have almost all the stones from the world. The museum collections contain over 5,000 specimens of meteorites, minerals, rocks, fossils, and human cultural stone artifacts in a more than 25,000 m2 museum building. 

 

One mission of the Global Stone Natural History Museum is: "Based on stones, to discover, interpret, and disseminate—through scientific research and education—knowledge about stone cultures, the natural world including human beings, and the universe. 

 

Stone is the carrier of culture and culture is the attribute of stone. Museum is the bridge between the stone and the culture. We are committed to the largest, the most professional and the most comprehensive stone culture museum in the world.
